Rudolf Grosser (born March 13, 1944 in Munich ) is a former German soccer player who played in the Bundesliga for Bayern Munich .

Career

Beginning

Grosser began his football career at the age of 19 with FC Bayern Munich in the Regionalliga Süd . In this he came for the first time on May 23, 1964 (37th matchday) in the 4-6 defeat in the home game against TSG Ulm 1846 and on May 31, 1964 (38th matchday) in the 3-3 draw in the away game against the SpVgg Neu-Isenburg in action; in the latter he played alongside his older brother Robert .

In the following season he played five point games in which he scored two goals. He achieved his first on March 21, 1965 (29th matchday), in a 3-0 win in the away game against SSV Reutlingen 05 with the goal of the interim 2-0 in the 50th minute, his second on May 9, 1965 ( 36th matchday) in the 6-1 win in the home game against 1. FC Pforzheim with the goal to make it 1-0 in the eighth minute. As a champion of the Regionalliga Süd, he played five of the six promotion games to the Bundesliga in Group 2 . In the top German division he was used four times in two seasons and made his debut on May 14, 1966 in a 1-1 draw in the away game against Meidericher SV ; a week later he scored his only Bundesliga goal in the 1: 4 defeat in the home game against 1. FC Köln with the goal to 1: 3 in the 74th minute. On May 28, 1966 (34th matchday), he was also involved in his third game of the season in the 1-1 draw in the away game against Werder Bremen .

After he won the Bayern DFB-Pokal in 1966 without having been used, he contributed to another title win on February 4, 1967 in a 3-1 win in the round of 16 against SpVgg Erkenschwick . The 1967/68 season he played for the Swiss first division club Young Boys Bern , for whom he scored five goals in 25 national league games and ended his only season with the team in eighth place.

The End

After returning to Germany, he played from 1974 to 1977 for the amateur team of FC Bayern Munich in the 1st Amateur League Bayern . In addition to his games in the league, he also played five games in the competition for the DFB Cup. On September 7, 1974, he lost with his team, whose captain he was, with 1: 3 at VfB Luebeck in the first main round .
