Rudolf Junkermann

Rudolf Junkermann (born February 15, 1887 in Werden an der Ruhr , today in Essen , † July 8, 1956 in Trier ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer and district administrator .

Life

Career

Junkermann was a son of the district court president Adolf Junkermann in Braunschweig and Adele, geb. Rolffs. In 1905 he passed the Abitur at the Domgymnasium in Naumburg (Saale) and then studied law at the universities of Tübingen , Kiel and Bonn. In Tübingen he became a member of the Corps Suevia . In July 1908 he passed the trainee exam. In 1908/09 he did his military service as a one-year volunteer in the Uhlan regiment "Hennigs von Treffenfeld" (Altmärkisches) No. 16 in Salzwedel . In 1909 he was promoted to Dr. jur. PhD. This was followed by positions as a government assessor in Cologne and the government assessor examination in 1914. When the First World War broke out , he was assigned as an assessor to the district office in Osterode am Harz. He took part in the war with the Uhlan Regiment No. 16 and the Infantry Regiment No. 16. In 1919 he became an unskilled laborer at the district office of the Randow district in Stettin, and in 1920 he was an assistant to the Stettin government . In August 1921, he moved to the Königsberg district in Neumark as acting district administrator . In December of that year he was appointed district administrator. He held office there until he was put into temporary retirement on June 29, 1933 .

In 1919 Junkermann married Annaberta von Lewinski, a daughter of General of the Infantry Wilhelm von Lewinski in Joachimsthal in the Uckermark.
