Rudolf Müller (politician, 1924)

Rudolf Müller (born December 23, 1924 in Niederfischbach ; † April 20, 1987 ibid) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

Müller did an apprenticeship as a locksmith and technical draftsman. From 1942 to 1946 he was in the Wehrmacht and a prisoner of war. He then worked in his profession until 1955 and from 1956 was managing director of IG Metall in the Betzdorf administrative office.

Müller joined the CDU in 1946. Müller ran for the Bundestag in 1965 on the CDU Rhineland-Palatinate state list , but was not elected. In 1969 he ran again and was elected to the Bundestag (member of the 6th German Bundestag ). After the 1972 Bundestag election , the first early election , he was no longer MP.
