Rudolf Mainzer

Rudolf Mainzer (born April 10, 1882 in Trier , † April 14, 1977 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Prussian state parliament.

Life

The son of an elementary school teacher attended grammar school in Trier and studied at the universities of Bonn and Munich as well as in France. After graduating from college, he worked as a teacher and writer until 1914. During the First World War he served as an interpreter for the General Staff from 1914 to 1918 .

After the war, he lived in Sassnitz , where he was mayor from 1919, member of the local council and deputy mayor. At the same time he belonged to the district council and the district committee and was district deputy of the Rügen district . From 1921 he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Pomerania and the Provincial Committee of the Province of Pomerania . From 1928 to 1932 he was a member of the Prussian state parliament . From 1930 to 1933 he was a member of the provincial administration of Pomerania .

In 1933 he moved to Garmisch-Partenkirchen .
