Rudolf Nissl
Rudolf Nissl (born April 13, 1870 in Fügen ; † October 2, 1955 in Munich ) was a painter .
Life
Nissl was the son of an innkeeper. He studied from 1887 to 1889 in the painting class of Ludwig Schmid-Reutte and since October 13, 1888 as a matriculated student with Johann Caspar Herterich , Ludwig von Löfftz and Paul Hoecker at the Munich Academy . From 1895 he was a member of the Munich and Vienna Secession , later also a member of the German Association of Artists .
