Rudolf Polley (born March 21, 1943 in Hermsdorf, Silesia ) is a German lawyer and politician who worked in the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen and in Freital .

Career

Polley was until 1985 Managing Directors of the CDU in Bremerhaven and member of the Bremen Regional Parliament in the eleventh legislature from 1983 to 1987. Nationwide attention was his transfer from the CDU to the Republicans on March 16, 1985. Together with Wilhelm Brasse and Thorolf Oeing he was to 1987 one of three members of the republicans in the Bremen citizenship and also belonged to the state association of the party, which arose from the departure of further CDU members in Bremerhaven.

Polley later worked for the CSU in Würzburg and later moved to Freital in Saxony . There he was again for the CDU city council, member of the supervisory board of the housing company and also from November 19, 1993 to July 31, 1994 district administrator of the Freital district, which is in liquidation .

In January 2014 Rudolf Polley resigned from the CDU together with two other Freital city councilors. They founded the first AfD parliamentary group at local level. Polley did not join the AfD. After the city ​​council election in 2014 , he resigned from the city council.
