Rudolf Tetzlaff

Rudolf Tetzlaff (born June 22, 1905 in Berlin ; † December 23, 1989 there ) was a German publisher .

Life

Tetzlaff studied economics and received his doctorate in 1933 for Dr. rer. pole. After completing his studies, he joined the publishing house that was founded by his father Arthur Tetzlaff . Arthur Tetzlaff in Berlin.

He rebuilt the publishing house, which had been destroyed in World War II, from 1947 in Frankfurt am Main . In addition to the railway specialist journal Signal + Draht , which appeared for the first time in 1906, other titles were added to the publishing program, including the specialist journal Der Eisenbahningenieur and Elsners Taschenbuch .

Tetzlaff ended his publishing activities at the turn of the year 1975/76 when Dr. Arthur Tetzlaff Verlag as Tetzlaff Verlag GmbH in the publishing house Hoppenstedt was incorporated. On January 1, 1990, shortly after Tetzlaff's death, the publishing house was transferred to Deutsche Verkehrsverlag , which was renamed the DVV Media Group in 2007 .
