The Wolkenstein ruins are a rock castle in the canton of Schaffhausen in Switzerland that was built in the 12th century and has now been removed . The Burgstall is located on a rock spur on the Wolkensteinerberg, the last foothill of the Schiener Berg high above Hemishofen . Hohenklingen Castle is to the east of Wolkenstein Castle .
