Rumpelmühle is a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Sankt Lorenzen im Mürz Valley in the Bruck-Mürzzuschlag district in Styria .
In the cadastral parish. which stretches east of Sankt Lorenzen into the Mürzsteg Alps , is the village of Mürzgraben .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 65 building areas with 43,307 m² and 54 gardens on 91,688 m² in the cadastral community Rumpelmühle , in 1989/1990 there were 46 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 201 and in 2009/2010 there were 102 buildings on 223 building areas.
Land use
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture and forestry. 310 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 878 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 243 hectares and 943 hectares were designated as forest areas.
