description
In 1913 the tower-like summer house was given a two-zone, octagonal hood on an older (18th / 19th century) truncated, bastion-like rubble stone base , which is now covered with slate . There are bat dormers in the roof and a tower knob on top. Access is from the side of the mountain. There are windows in both the hood and the base. The design in 1913 came from the Radebeul architect Max Herrmann .
The tower house, located in the middle of a bushy vineyard , is connected to a residential building to the east ( Augustusweg 88 ) via a high quarry stone retaining wall . The building was renovated after the fall of the Wall .
The property is located in the conservation area Historic vineyard landscape Radebeul and in the conservation area Lößnitz .
