Rune Skog (born February 2, 1973 ) is a former Norwegian biathlete .

Rune Skog achieved its greatest successes at the national level. In 1996 he won his first medal in Brumunddal alongside Arnt Ove Johansen , Lars Thomas Nordkild and Per Nilsen as the representative of the Troms region with the bronze medal in the relay race. He achieved his greatest success in 1999 when he won the championship title in Tana with Stig-Are Eriksen , Tor Espen Kristiansen and Terje Aune . 2005 came alongside Hans prosch , Terje Aune and Rune Morten Johansen again winning the relay silver medal added. Internationally, Skog came to appearances in the European Cup in the first half of the 2000s . The best result was a seventh place in an individual, which he achieved at the start of the 2002/03 season in Ål . With that he crowned a Norwegian sevenfold victory.
