Ruth Beckmann

Ruth Beckmann (born February 5, 1925 in Essen ) is a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Ruth Beckmann attended elementary and secondary schools from 1931 to 1941 and graduated from secondary school in 1941. Between 1941 and 1943 she had to do a compulsory year in the Reich Labor Service and then from 1943 attended the training institute for medical technology assistants in Berlin , where she passed the exam in 1944. After the war, she worked from 1951 to 1954 as a clerk on the main board of the German Railway Workers' Union . Ruth Beckmann is married and has two children.

politics

Ruth Beckmann is a member of the CDU and is active there in various board positions. In terms of local politics, she was a city councilor in Frankfurt am Main from 1964 to 1970 and a member of the association assembly of the State Welfare Association of Hesse from 1969 to 1981 . Between December 1, 1970 and August 4, 1983, she was a member of the Hessian state parliament for four terms. In 1974 and 1979 she was a member of the Federal Assembly .
