Ryō Maeda ( Japanese 前 田 亮 , Maeda Ryō ; born March 15, 1992 ) is a Japanese biathlete .

Ryō Maeda made his international debut at the Biathlon Junior World Championships 2012 in Kontiolahti , where he was 64th of the individual and 65th of the sprint. In 2013 he contested his first race in the IBU Cup and finished 64th in a sprint in Martell . The first career highlight was the 2013 Biathlon World Championships in Nové Město na Moravě , where he was 126th in the individual and 100th in the sprint. With Junji Nagai , Hidenori Isa and Sho Wakamatsu , he was also 26th as the final runner of the Japanese season.
