Shō Wakamatsu ( Japanese 若 松 翔 , Wakamatsu Shō ; * July 8, 1987 ) is a Japanese biathlete .

Shō Wakamatsu made his debut at the beginning of the 2010/11 season in the IBU Cup in Martell and was 103 in his first individual. In Obertilliach he achieved a double-digit placement a little later than 89 for the first time. Later in the season he competed in Hochfilzen on the side of Junji Nagai , Hidenori Isa and Kazuya Inomata as the final runner of a lapped Japanese relay, his first race in the Biathlon World Cup . In Beitostølen he achieved his best result so far in an IBU Cup race as the 64th of a sprint in 2012 . The first career highlight was the 2013 biathlon world championships in Nové Město na Moravě . In the individual he was 128th, in the sprint 126th and with Junji Nagai, Hidenori Isa and Ryō Maeda in the lapped Japanese men's relay 26.
