Ryszard Władysław Kraus (born June 30, 1964 in Bestwina ; † November 3, 2013 ibid) was a Polish football player .

career

societies

He began his career in youth at LZS Bestwina . From 1980 he played at GKS 1962 Jastrzębie . In 1987 he moved to Odra Wodzisław Śląski , from there in 1989 he returned to Jastrzębie for half a year.

In the summer of 1989 he joined Górnik Zabrze . With Górnik he was in the 1992 final of the Polish Football Cup against Miedź Legnica , which was lost 3: 4 on penalties . Kraus missed a penalty when the score was 1: 2.

In 1994 he left Zabrze and switched to GKS Tychy . After only one season he returned to his hometown club LZS Bestwina , where he ended his career in 1996.

National team

In the Polish national team , Kraus played in four friendly matches in 1991 against Northern Ireland (1: 3) and Finland (1: 1) and in 1992 against Czechoslovakia (1: 0) and Guatemala (2: 2), in which he did not score .
