Gaétan-Jean Sébastien Lefebvre Pépin (born June 5, 1981 in Laval , Québec ) is a French-Canadian musician. He is the rhythm guitarist and background singer for the pop-punk band Simple Plan .

Career

Lefebvre is the son of Lorraine Pépin, a child psychologist, and Jean Lefebvre. He has an older brother Jay and two younger sisters Andrée-Anne and Héloise. He attended the Collège Beaubois in Pierrefonds , Montreal West Island with his bandmates Chuck Comeau, Jeff Stinco and Pierre Bouvier .

As a teenager, Lefebvre taught himself to play the guitar. He copied the fingerings of Billie Joe Armstrong , the singer and guitarist of Green Day .

Since 2006 Lefebvre has been a permanent member of the “Man of the hour” radio show on idobi Radio , in which he and Patrick (webmaster, photographer and merchant from Simple Plan) take over the radio station for an hour on Thursdays.
