Career

Pichot made his World Cup debut on December 14, 2003 in the giant slalom on the Gran Risa in Alta Badia , where he was unable to qualify for the second run. In the next few years only very few appearances in the World Cup followed.

The Frenchman has competed regularly in the World Cup since the 2007/08 season . On December 16, 2007 he won the first points in the giant slalom in Alta Badia with rank 27. His first best World Cup result he achieved on December 11, 2009 with 13th place in the super combined of Val-d'Isère . Because of a torn muscle in his right thigh, which he suffered during training on October 9, 2010 in Switzerland, Pichot had to take a break for the entire winter of 2010/11. In the following 2011/12 season , Pichot equalized his best World Cup result to date with two 13th places in the giant slalom in Alta Badia and in the Hahnenkamm combination in Kitzbühel .
