Life and work

After completing secondary school in 1993 at the Gudewerdt Realschule in Eckernförde, Rix attended the technical college for social education in Kiel , which he finished in 1996 as a state-approved educator . He then did his community service and then worked as an educator in Eckernförde.

Political party

Rix joined the SPD as a schoolboy in 1992. After he had been a member of the SPD district executive of Rendsburg-Eckernförde since 1998 , he was elected chairman of the district association in 2002.
