Sören Dreßler (born December 26, 1975 in Schleiz ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach .

career

Dreßler's career in club football began at BSG Progress Gefell. Other clubs in his youth were the FSV Schleiz, Saaletal / Hirschberg and FC Carl Zeiss Jena . In Jena he played a. a. with well-known players like Bernd Schneider and Jörg Böhme . After FC Bayern Hof (1992 to 2000) and SSV Reutlingen 05 , for which he played a total of 16 second division games from 2000 to 2002, he played for FC Augsburg in the Regionalliga Süd from 2002.

In 2006 he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with the FCA . At times Dreßler was the captain of the Augsburg team, but recently lost his regular place. Then Dreßler moved to FC Ingolstadt in the summer of 2008 after a change in the previous winter break had failed. He was awarded a two-year contract. In the 2008/09 season, which ended with relegation to the 3rd division , Sören Dreßler played 10 times for the FCI. For the 2009/10 season he was transferred to the second team (Oberliga Bayern) and was used there five times until October 2009. In the following years he ended his career.

In 2011 he took over the coaching position at SSV Anhausen (Augsburg district). In 2013 he became the new coach at Kissinger SC in Augsburg. This association is u. a. directed by FC Augsburg professional Sascha Mölders . Since the 2015/16 season Dreßler has been the coach of the first team at TSV 1847 Schwaben Augsburg .
