The Sølen is a free-standing, dreigipfeliger mountain in the municipality of Rendalen in Eastern Norway Province Innlandet (until 31 December 2019 Hedmark ). The Midtre (middle) Sølen is 1755  moh. the highest of the three peaks, the other two peaks are Søre (southern) Sølen with 1688 moh. and the Nordre (northern) Sølen with 1699 moh. Midtre Sølen can be reached in summer as in winter via several technically simple but long climbs, mainly from the south or west, which all come together at Lake Skardstjønna to form the steeper but also relatively easy final ascent.
