Søren Pape Poulsen
Søren Pape Poulsen (born December 31, 1971 in Bjerringbro ) is a Danish politician and chairman of the Conservative People's Party since 2014 .
Life
From January 1, 2010 to September 3, 2014, Pape Poulsen succeeded Johannes Steensgaard as mayor of Viborg municipality . He handed over the office to Torsten Nielsen in order to take over the chairmanship of the Danish Conservatives from Lars Barfoed in August 2014 .
As the top candidate of his party, he won a seat in the Folketing in the 2015 Folketing election .
From 2016 to 2019 he was Minister of Justice in the Lars Løkke Rasmussen III government .
Pape Poulsen is engaged to Josue Medina Vazquez; the couple live in Viborg.
