Per Stig Møller
Per Stig Møller (born August 27, 1942 in Frederiksberg ) is a Danish politician of the Conservative People's Party and a publicist.
Life
He has been a member of the Danish Parliament since 1984, was chairman of the Conservative People's Party from 1997 to 1998, environment minister from 1990 to 1993, foreign minister 2001–2010 and minister of culture and church 2010/11.
Møller was promoted to Dr. phil. in literary studies and worked as a literary editor for BT and Berlingske Aftenavis. Møller has published two dozen books on literary and cultural studies, u. a. about Conrad Malte-Brun , Léopold Sédar Senghor , George Orwell and Kaj Munk .
It was in May 2015 Russia with a travel ban occupied.
Awards
In 1996 Møller received the Georg Brandes Prize for his work Den naturlige orden - tolv år der forandrede verden , which deals with the central years of the European Enlightenment .
