Per Hækkerup
Per Christen Hækkerup (born December 25, 1915 in Ringsted , † March 13, 1979 in Herritslev ) was a social democratic Danish politician .

Per Christen Hækkerup comes from an influential Danish family of politicians who, as members of the Danish Social Democratic Party, held high offices in the Danish government. He was the son of Hans Kristen Hækkerup and Grete Hækkerup and brother of Hans Erling Hækkerup . His sons Hans Hækkerup and Klaus Hækkerup and his grandsons Nick Hækkerup and Ole Hækkerup also held important political offices.
Per Hækkerup was Foreign Minister in the cabinet of Jens Otto Krag from September 3, 1962 to November 28, 1966 and Minister of Economic Affairs from October 11, 1971 to December 6, 1973 under Krag and Anker Jørgensen . He served under Jørgensen in changing ministerial posts until his death in 1979.
In 1967 he received the culture prize of the city of Kiel and in 1968 the order against the seriousness of the animals of the Aachen carnival club.
