1969 South Pacific Games / Football

With the III. South Pacific Games in 1969 in Papua New Guinea a football competition was held. Six teams took part in the men's tournament. All games were played in Port Moresby from August 12-22, 1969 . Everyone against everyone was played in a simple league round. The first and second placed played for the tournament victory, the third and fourth for bronze.

New Caledonia won its second gold medal at the South Pacific Games after 1963.
