Sławomir Kohut

Sławomir Kohut (born September 18, 1977 in Cieszyn ) is a Polish cyclist .

Sławomir Kohut began his career in 2001 with the Amore & Vita-Beretta cycling team . In 2003 he moved to CCC Polsat , where he won a stage of the Ytong Bohemia Tour . In his second year there, he won a stage each in the Settimana Ciclistica Lombarda and in the Peace Tour . Shortly afterwards he won the time trial of the Bałtyk-Karkonosze Tour and also won the overall standings. He also became Polish time trial champion and started at the Olympic Games in Athens . He could not finish the Olympic road race, in the individual time trial he finished 36th. In 2008 he finished second in the overall ranking of the Tour of Morocco .
