Piotr Chmielewski
Piotr Chmielewski (born September 18, 1970 in Lublin ) is a former Polish cyclist .
In 1993 Piotr Chmielewski won the Polska – Ukraina race , and in 1996 he became Polish champion in the individual time trial . In 1998 he won the Bałtyk-Karkonosze Tour . From 2000 he drove for the Mróz team and started at the Olympic Games in Sydney in the road race , which he did not finish. In 2001 he won the overall ranking of the Giro del Capo , the Memoriał Henryka Łasaka and one stage each in the Tour of Poland and in the Herald Sun Tour . In 2003 he moved to CCC Polsat , where he won a stage in the Wyscig Dookola Mazowska . In 2004 and 2005 he drove for two years for Intel-Action and again in 2006 for CCC Polsat . In 2004 he won the Tour of Slovakia . From 2007 he rode for Action-Uniqa , the following year he ended his cycling career.
