SAT Airlines ( Russian Сахалинские авиатрассы ) was a Russian airline based in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and based at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport .
history
The company was founded in 1992, it emerged from the Sakhalinsk division of Aeroflot . In November of this year she started her regular service with the route Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - Vladivostok - Seoul , which was served with an Antonov An-24 . From 1994 the company started using Boeing 737-200 , which was then followed by other western aircraft types.
The main shareholder Aeroflot announced in spring 2013 that it would merge SAT Airlines with Vladivostok Avia . The new company was finally announced as Aurora Airlines in November 2013 and began operations on December 8, 2013.
Destinations
SAT Airlines served destinations in the Far East of Russia as well as Japan , China and South Korea .
