SBS 6 is a Dutch private broadcaster, which offers a full program with films, series and numerous in-house productions. The program mainly consists of information programs, films, television series and sports broadcasts. SBS 6 started in 1995 as RTL 4's main competitor .
The television station belonged to the ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG station group until July 28, 2011 . From July 29, 2011 to July 19, 2017, the station was in the hands of Sanoma Media (67%) and Talpa Media (33%). Since July 19, 2017, SBS 6 has been completely in the hands of Talpa Media.
