The SStB - Planina to Quarnero were steam locomotives of the Southern State Railways (SStB) of Austria-Hungary .

The 17 locomotives were supplied by the WRB locomotive factory in 1849 and 1850. They were known under the name Große Gloggnitz , as they proved themselves very well on the "mountain route" from Wiener Neustadt to Gloggnitz . (The subsequent Semmering Railway was not yet built.) In contrast to the Kleine Gloggnitzern SStB - Cilli to Monfalcone , they had slightly larger cylinders, smaller wheels and a little more weight.

The locomotives of this series came to the Südbahngesellschaft in 1858 as part of the privatization of Austrian State Railways , which assigned them the numbers 837-853 and the series number 15 . The retirement took place in 1861.
