The SStB - Gutenberg was a steam locomotive of the Southern State Railway (SStB) of Austria-Hungary .

The locomotive was the last machine ordered by the SStB. It was delivered by Sigl in Vienna in 1857 as the first locomotive. The name GUTENBERG results from the fact that Georg Sigl originally built letterpress machines .

The locomotive came to the Südbahngesellschaft in 1858 as part of the privatization of the Austrian State Railways , which assigned it the number 291 and the series number 12 (from 1864 17 ). The retirement took place in 1880.
