The Alemannia Haibach is a football club from Haibach , which was founded in 1919 and currently in landesliga bayern plays.

history

The association was founded on October 2, 1919 by nine men Hermann Arnold, August Elbert, Eugen Elbert, Anton Fuchs, Franz Hartmann, Johann Hein, Paul Kunkel, Anton Steigerwald and Lorenz Steinbauer in Haibach. Stefan Rohe became the first director in 1920. A year later the club merged with the Adler sports club . After a long time and a dispute with the community, Alemannia received its first sports field in 1922. In 1928 the club was already on the field with six teams (senior, youth and student teams) and in 1929 the first team played in the A-class. In the war years of World War II , only the youth teams could play. After the restart in 1945, normal gaming operations were resumed. The first success of this team was the championship in the district class 2 in 1946. In 1948 the football club took over a new place. After years of negotiations, the construction of a sports home could be started in 1959, which the Bavarian State Sports Association subsidized. Two changing rooms, a referee's room, shower room, sanitary facilities and a lounge were planned. In 1961 the Alemannia was the winner in the amateur league Ufr.-West .

In 1997, Alemannia Haibach was promoted to the Bayern League for the first time under coach Markus Schäfer , which at that time marked Germany's 4th game league directly under the Regional League. The SVA had to be relegated again the following season. In the 2006/07 season they failed in the qualifying round for the Bayern League at TSG Thannhausen . In the 1979/80 season Alemannia Haibach played in the DFB Cup . In the first round, the club was eliminated against VfL Frohnlach 4: 8 (4: 4) after extra time. In 2008 the Alemannia was the Lower Franconian TOTO Cup winner with a 3-1 win against TSV Großbardorf . In 2011, the SVA became Bavarian indoor champion after an 11:10 win after a seven-meter shootout against Würzburger FV .
