Sabine Baum (born May 22, 1972 ) is a former German squash player .

Career

Sabine Baum was mainly active on the WSA World Tour in the 1990s . She reached her highest position in the world rankings with position 46 in 1994. With the German national team she took part in the World Cup in 1992 , 1994 , 1996 and 1998 . In addition, she was ten times in the squad at European Championships . In 1992, 1994 and from 1996 to 2000 she was the European Vice Champion with the team. From 1992 to 1998 Baum was four times in the main draw of the world championship in singles, but never got past the first round.

She was in the final of the German championships five times , where she always failed to Sabine Schöne . With the Landshuter SC she became German champion in 1992 and 1993. For many years she was in second place nationally, behind Sabine Schöne. In July 2002 she ended her career.
