NGC 7074 is a compact galaxy of Hubble type C in the constellation Pegasus north of the celestial equator . It is an estimated 163 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years in diameter. The galaxy has a double galaxy core.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 7085 .
The object was discovered on October 16, 1863 by the astronomer Albert Marth .
