NGC 7091 = IC 5114 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBd in the constellation Crane in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 116 million light years from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by John Herschel (listed as NGC ) on July 1, 1834, and by Lewis Swift on July 9, 1897 . ( listed as IC ).
