IC 5104 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBab, in the constellation Pegasus in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 231 million light years from the Milky Way and about 105,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on October 26, 1897 .
