IC 5092 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Peacock in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 141 million light years from the Milky Way and about 125,000 light years across. Together with NGC 7020 , IC 5096 , IC 5084 , PGC 66319 and PGC 66376 , it forms the IC 5096 group or LGG 443 .
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy IC 5096 .
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on September 19, 1903 .
