IC 5073 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Peacock in the southern sky . It is an estimated 522 million light years from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 5071 , IC 5072 , IC 5075 .
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on September 26, 1900 .
