IC 5071 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Peacock in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 134 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light-years across.

The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on September 26, 1900 .
