IC 5051 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sa in the constellation Peacock in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 585 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 105,000 light-years across.

The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on September 26, 1900 .
