IC 5033 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sc in the constellation Indians in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 309 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 90,000 ly.

The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 17, 1904 .
