IC 5024 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Peacock in the southern sky . It is an estimated 164 million light years from the Milky Way and about 45,000 light years across.

The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on September 26, 1900 .
