IC 5003 = IC 5029 = IC 5039 = IC 5046 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Microscopium in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 123 million light years from the Milky Way and about 75,000 light years in diameter. Together with IC 5041, it forms a gravitationally bound galaxy pair.
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on September 8, 1897 .
