IC 5118 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Indians in the southern sky . It is an estimated 353 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 120,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on September 28, 1900 .
