NGC 7081 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sb in the constellation Aquarius on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 153 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 60,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 7077 and IC 5111 .
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on October 10, 1790 .
