Sabine Schultz

Sabine Schultz (born May 1, 1937 in Berlin ) is a German numismatist . Her scientific focus is on the Greek coins.

From 1964 to 1992 she worked as a research assistant at the Münzkabinett Berlin and was responsible for the Greek coins. In 1969 she received her doctorate from the University of Halle with a thesis on the coinage of magnesia on the meander in the Roman Empire. She is married to the numismatist Hans Dietrich Schultz , who also worked at the Münzkabinett. In 1999 the couple received the Eligius Prize of the German Numismatic Society in recognition of their services to ancient numismatics .
