Sad (born February 11, 1977 ; real name Sandro Durrer ), also spelled SAD , is a Swiss music producer and rap musician .
Sad produces for various Swiss musicians such as Baze , Section Kuchikäschtli , Luut & Tüütli , Bandit , Seven , 6er Gascho , Gimma or Wurzel 5 . He was involved in the Stägehuus sessions of the label Otravez as one of the main producers and released his first album Update in 2004 , which combines remixes of well-known dialect rap songs. In 2008 his second work, Play , came out on which he worked with musicians such as Chris Wicky, Philipp Fankhauser , Semantik and The Delilahs, but also with well-known rappers. His third album Smalltalk was released on January 29, 2010.
Sad also produced large parts of the albums Mis Leba isch so Scheisse and I Gega d'Schwiiz by Gimma , Jugendstil by 6er Gascho and numerous instrumentals on the album Ke Summer by Chlyklass . In 2008 he founded the independent label EquipeMusic with Baldy Minder and Benedikt Wieland .
Sad is under contract with the Nation Music label . He lives in Bern and has three children.
