Saeed Abad al-Thamali (born June 20, 1985 ) is a Saudi obstacle course and long-distance runner .

Athletic career

Saeed Abad al-Thamali gained his first international experience in 2013 when he finished sixth in the obstacle course at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Palembang in 8: 56.27 minutes. Two years later he finished ninth at the Arab Championships in Manama in 8: 59.90 minutes and in 2017 he won the bronze medal at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar in 8: 52.64 minutes behind Iranian Hossein Keyhani and Yaser Salem Bagharab from Qatar. Since 2019 he has focused on road running.
