The Safranbach is a right tributary of the Rohrach near Heidenheim in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .

The Safranbach rises at an altitude of 541  m above sea level. NN east of Hohentrüdingen . It feeds several ponds not far from its cased mouth, until it flows into the Rohrach from the right after a run of around 1.2 kilometers at Scheckenmühle .
