Rigips Austria

Rigips Austria's Puchberg site

The headquarters of Rigips Austria is located in Bad Aussee - Unterkainisch , where on the one hand the production for plasterboard and the opencast mining on the Grundlsee can be found. The rough stone has been transported from mining over 8.5 km to the slab factory by a material cable car since 1951 . This type of transport avoids around 22,000 truck trips annually. In 2014 the cable car was revitalized in order to keep occupational safety up to date and to secure the company's location in Aussee. Most of the administrative operations are also located in Bad Aussee. Rigips dry construction systems are also sold throughout Europe from there. The manufacture of gypsum powder products is located in Puchberg am Schneeberg , where gypsum is also mined in opencast mining and finally processed into fillers, plaster and joint fillers. The Austrian sales and marketing department, which is responsible for (application) technical support, is located in Vienna . Around 350 people are employed at the three locations (as of 2011) .

Six sales offices on the Balkan Peninsula are also operated from Austria.
