The Parochial Church of Saint Lawrence

Saint Lawrence ( Jèrriais : St Louothains) is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey . The municipality is located in the center of the island. It covers 5259 Vergées (10 km², 8% of the island area).
Neighboring parishes are Saint Peter and Saint Mary in the west, Saint John in the north and northeast and Saint Helier in the east. In the south, the community has a border on the Bay of St. Aubin (English: St. Aubin's Bay).
Attractions
The parish's top attractions are the Hamptonne Open Air Museum and the German War's Tunnels . They include St. Matthew's Church near St. Aubin's Beach.

St. Lawrence forms an electoral district and elects two MPs. The Le Constable (in German as: community manager or community leader ) is also a set member.
All parishes in Jersey, including Saint Lawrence, have an honorary police force made up of volunteer members who have certain rights organized in a police-like manner.

With Bel Royal and St Lawrence, Saint Lawrence has two primary schools, each of which has a nursery attached.

From 1959, the British polar explorer George Binney (1900–1972) lived in St. Lawrence .
